Needles
There’s something about the simplicity of a monochromatic image that I find appealing. Like this one, it’s green. Yes, there are a few other colors in there, but the bulk of it is green. And yet it doesn’t seem to me that it really needs any other color.

Honor
At the time of the writing of this post, I have no idea who the next president of the United States will be. And when it comes down to it, I really don’t think it matters.
Whoever gets the job will have a lot of work on their hands. And if history is any indication, it will be the winner of the 2012 election that will really get the credit for turning things around. Not to say that whoever won this election won’t still be around, but these kind of changes don’t happen overnight.
Hopefully whoever the winner of the 2008 election is will perform the job with honor.

Swan Head
I saw this tree and instantly thought that it looked like a swan. So I got my girlfriend to stand and create the shadow. I like how she left what would have been the beak in the sun.
Also, I can’t decide if it should be like this or portrait orientation. I left it this way because that’s the way it was on the trail.
